another texan

hello all.
just thought i would pop in and introduce myself. another texan in Dallas(lakewood/lowest greenville area). i have alwasy been a fan of older vehicles and purchased my first truck last august. since then my 63 chevy c-10 has come a long way and im getting closer to having a daily driver on my hands. im a fan of old school budget rod look. nothing fancy or flashy. power and reliability are more important than paint. im 27 and am up to meeting local people that enjoy spending a sunday turning wrenches, shooting the sh*t and drinking cold beer.

Re: another texan

Welcome to the board from West Tennessee. Wish somebody like you lived a little closer to me. Haven't had a wrench turning, bull shooting afternoon in a long time. Hope you can hook up with some like minded people soon.
