A/C question

On a 72 swb w/ factory air does the duct hose from unit to pass side a/c vent need an adapter? One end is round and the main unit appears oval?
Thanks in advance.

Re: A/C question

Hi there,
You do not need an adapter you just have to squish the hose to get over the oval end. I had problems on my Green and White 72. I had to cut the hose to get it on then zip tied it on once I got it in place. You may get yours on without notching it or you may have to notch it. It helps if you have the original style cloth ducts. The plastic ducts I put on a 67 didnt want to fit any of the openings. I hope this info helps you out. Godd luck on getting those ducts installed.
