I finally had a chance to pick up my new Headers
I picked them up this sunday, promptly took them to my brother's (where the truck is currently residing) and ran into some massive problems... No matter what I try, they'll only fit one way, with the collectors facing forward toward the front of the truck
Is there something wrong here?

Re: I finally had a chance to pick up my new Headers
Flip em from side to side and run them up through the hood like a pulling truck. Are you sure your motor's not in backwards?
Sorry bro I know it ain't funny, but you have to admit it's ....uh....funny...

I hate you I hate you I hate you!
We need pics! I have been seriously contemplating a 355 + boost. But it would be kinda silly since I wouldnt be able to run it anywhere. Bags + strips = no go

Re: I finally had a chance to pick up my new Headers
I'll try to get my brother to snap some shots and email them... this really sucks They were like 500$ not even painted and they don't fit like any headers I've ever seen. I don't know how I'm gonna make them work

Going the opposite way w/exhaust is good when you hook-em to a hairdryer .

If you did, I would either edit your post or blame your significant other for typing it. Pics you tease! EDIT: 'bout time (you added them as I typed my original reply)

You need to hurry up so we can race when we are both done. Should be an interesting race to say the least.

Re: I finally had a chance to pick up my new Headers
Psh... I plan on going to fast to worry about turning quickly. When driving normally, ya just gotta strong-arm it.
The only accesory it gets is the alternator, and that's just because I don't want to charge the system between passes, and I want to drive it on the street.

Re: I finally had a chance to pick up my new Headers
What about reverse turbos to spin the engine backwards? Maybe if you could flip the dizzy upside down, too? Hmmm...really big air horns on the collectors...or a doorless fridge on its side sitting on the hood...now, that would be ram air!
