I finally had a chance to pick up my new Headers
I picked them up this sunday, promptly took them to my brother's (where the truck is currently residing) and ran into some massive problems... No matter what I try, they'll only fit one way, with the collectors facing forward toward the front of the truck
 Is there something wrong here?

Flip em from side to side and run them up through the hood like a pulling truck. Are you sure your motor's not in backwards?

its a work in progess. 71 c-10 lwb, in the middle of frame off restoration. 69 c-10 swb, drag truck, 406 sbc, balanced, comp 292 cam, ported, polished, gasket matched, and bowl blended pro comp 210cc heads, 2.02/1.60 ferrea valves,1.6 roller rockers, re curved hei with msd 6al box, 2-step rev limter, accel 300+ wires, ported victor jr intake, holley 750 double pumper carb, dynomax 1 5/8 headers, 4 spd munci m-20 with super case and iron midplate, mr. gasket vertigate shifter, 5.38 pro gears with full spool, 33 spline moser axles and c-clip elimators, line-loc, 5 gal fuel cell, holley blue pump.   7.807 @ 88.37mph 1.60 60FT 80 g-20 van, tow rig, cammed 305, th350, 10 bolt 88 jeep wrangler, dd, 258, ax-15 swap, 4.5" lift, 33x12.50's, lockers, 3.55's |

We need pics! I have been seriously contemplating a 355 + boost. But it would be kinda silly since I wouldnt be able to run it anywhere. Bags + strips = no go

I'll try to get my brother to snap some shots and email them... this really sucks
 They were like 500$ not even painted and they don't fit like any headers I've ever seen. I don't know how I'm gonna make them work

You can bet the cab is going on asap when I have some time, because there's a box of 3" J-bends comin my way and I'm itchin to make a crossover and get some hairdryer mountin' goin on!

Psh... I plan on going to fast to worry about turning quickly. When driving normally, ya just gotta strong-arm it.
The only accesory it gets is the alternator, and that's just because I don't want to charge the system between passes, and I want to drive it on the street.

What about reverse turbos to spin the engine backwards? Maybe if you could flip the dizzy upside down, too? Hmmm...really big air horns on the collectors...or a doorless fridge on its side sitting on the hood...now, that would be ram air!
