Re: cab & rad mounts - what and where to get

Brothers had a sale on them a while back. We bought a set from them for my sons truck. They come with nice instructions. Cab and rad are sold seperate and we went with rubber

Check them out http://brotherstrucks.com/

The main problem with the poly mounts is the ones for the cab. I replaced my old, tired rubber mounts with poly ones and I am tempted to put the old ones back. That truck now feels like an old buckboard. Others I have talked to feel the same way. If I was going to keep the truck I would replace them with rubber. The mounts for the radiator would be best in poly.

Re: cab & rad mounts - what and where to get

Remember 67-68 use different rad support mounts that the 69-72, son't know what year you have, but some places try to sell you the newer rad mounts that wont work on the 67-68. Chevy Duty or what ever it is now has original style mounts.

Re: cab & rad mounts - what and where to get

be careful not to get the 69-72 radiator support mounts.

if your radiator support mounts come with rubber bushigns in the kit, this is a bad sign - 67 and 68 don't have rubber pieces in the front
