Re: Project Lemon Drop: anything but stock!
It was done purely to clean up the look of the cab. We did a lot of suttle changes to the truck, that only someone who is familiar with the style of truck will notice. The roof seam was just one of them

Your Truck looks outstanding. Looks like your on the down hill side for sure now.
Where/Who's bags/plates/cups did you use for your airbag set up?

Re: Project Lemon Drop: anything but stock!
Beautiful build you got there. Keep it up.
Aggie91 referred me over here. My fuel line from pump to carb has been giving me fits. I think I'm on the downhill side as far as the fuel line goes.

Re: Project Lemon Drop: anything but stock!
Sorry but still not much progress. I just had to buy a new fridge and it was not cheap. I had been working on completing the AC/Heater lines in the engine bay. Sounds easy right, NOT. I think I have it done, but I there may be some interference with the inner fender wells. So some modification may be in order.
I have also collected and stacked together the parts Kevin my need when he takes the truck to do some work. re-allign the front sheet metal, wet sand and polish the paint. complete the mess I made of the Painless harnress. Install the Accu-air control system, and what ever else I can convince him to do. I hope we can get it far enough to turn the engine over. I dieing to hear what that 327 sounds like with no exhaust. I hope after it gets back to my house, it will be just a matter of putting little bits back on. Thanks for your interest and patients.

Re: Project Lemon Drop: anything but stock!
Well you are off to a good start with a big box of brownie mix right on top for me! I am a bit behind as I just quit my regular job last monday and start the new company this next monday. So their will be a learning curve to work through but it will be worth in in the end. You want to hear it run, I want to see you try and look at it in the sun after a bit of cutting and polishing!!

Re: Project Lemon Drop: anything but stock!
I have read a couple of threads regarding registering a truck with a black and gold California license plates and how the DMV requires the plate to have a YOM sticker on it. Some time ago I bought a pair of CA commercial plates and after a little work I discovered that the first year the plate was registered was 1968 same as my truck. So hopefully things will go smooth when I try to register them to my truck.
I also have a pair of passenger vehicle plates that I will work on as well.

Re: Project Lemon Drop: anything but stock!
Hey...something fishy is going on there, are you sure Kevin is working? He does not seem to have moved in any one of the pics. Could he be sleeping under there? lol
Glad to see you getting back on this truck, looks like you guys got a few more things crossed off the list, keep at it!
