NOPE! If you do a search on google about the 700r4 and yokes...it won't be long until you will find the info the says TH350 and 700R4 have the same yoke. Now what I have under there is another question?? Good job for bringing it to my attention...gonna find out after I walk the two doggies!!!

Re: Auto crossmember question...help.

Yup sychronized pups!!! Anyway I am to the point of being pissed off. Unbolted everything and moved engine to the front tower holes and it seems my towers do not line up on the front holes??? I am going to see if I have old pics that show me where these towers were??? The crazy thing is Lemields engine was sitting on the front two holes..but his truck is a 70'.

Help...Mr wizard!!!! Trizzle trazzel trazzel trone, time for this one to go home!!!

Ok found old pics...I had it in the right spot to begin with, 1971 and 1970 towers must be different??? Ok back to square one. This is a classic case of three steps forward and 8 steps back!

Re: Auto crossmember question...help.

Hey buddie you made your self alot of extra work there. Jeez...... You can use the stock V8 or V6 motor mounts with a V8.(Bye the way thoes are 6cyl mounts not that thats a problem) Your buddie has stock V8 mounts in his truck thats why it further ahead. It does not matter where you have the motor the tranny crossmember will not line up with the existing holes. I cant believe you pulled the motor oh well put it back in on the mounts where you had them.

Then make sure you roll the floor to fire wall pinch weld up so you have a little extra clearence fot the slightly taller 700R.

I thought everyone wanted the engine to set BACK as far as possible? Leaves more room for electric fans, serp setups, etc.

I've got a set of V8 stands you can have if you want to run up to Windsor.
