What are you using for motor mounts?
I ran into this problem on my 73 pickup when I was using ECE's motor mounts on my 6.0L/4L80E documented here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=193657 This is with ECE mounts on my '73 frame: ![]() I am selling those now... This past weekend I replaced the ECE mounts (which posistions the SBC about 3" forward of a normal SBC) and put S&P motor plates on it (which mounts it back in the same position that a SBC would mount. I expected grinding on the port above to clearance it and was told 00-02 F-body manifolds would work, but I believe I have it to where I can use the factory Truck manifolds. I
