Ashtray to cupholder
I've seen two conversions...one was on Overhaulin' and they didn't show much about it and the other was on the Southern Classic pics thread. Anyone know how it's done?

Re: Ashtray to cupholder
Yep... It's made by Old Air and sold by most vendors. I love mine.

Re: Ashtray to cupholder
I can't find it anywhere on Old Air's site or any of the vendors I have in my links....got a link to one of them?
Speaking of that who has a set of parts links written for our trucks?

Re: Ashtray to cupholder
I got one from Wes www.classicheartbeat.com and I am happy with it. I had already tried creating my own cup holder and had welded studs to the inside of the dash on each side of the ashtray opening. So I had to modify my new one from Wes, but it as an easy thing to do and works great ( and ya, I only drink soda in a small can or bottle or I hzve the small drink cups).

Re: Ashtray to cupholder
70c10 had a write up on here about using a 95-98 Ford Windstar cup holder in our ash trays. Here's the link.....

Re: Ashtray to cupholder
I got one from Wes, too. Works great for smaller cups and pop cans. My Venti Starbucks Mocha doesn't fit in it too well. It is too top heavy and the cup holder doesn't hold it high enough on the cup.

Re: Ashtray to cupholder
I may have to go with the Windstar model....my cups are usually bigger than the double cupholder holds.
