Re: It's My Worlf Famous 67 Non Drag Truck
Yes my truck has been in this site before. I bought it in South Carolina. It has a 350, turbo 350 column shift. I am in Houston. Alot of people like my 68 better. I just bought it recently. And broke it already...

Re: It's My Worlf Famous 67 Non Drag Truck
Hey fellows. I got my rebuilt transmission yesterday. I installed about 80% of it. This is for my red 68. My yellow 67 has been consistent for me knock on wood while my red one has been down. So Sunday I should finished and start my red one. All I need to do is to bolt the crossmember down. It is in place lined up with the holes. The transmission mount is secured. I need to get the shaft stabbed in. Connect all the lines. Then start the filling. I was told 13 quarts for a turbo 350 w/ a cooler. 3 quarts start engine put in reverse for a second. Turn off. Fill 8 quarts start. Check and continue adding until good on dipstick.

Re: It's My Worlf Famous 67 Non Drag Truck
My self I like to do 5qts, start the truck (idle only) then run it thru all gears with your foot on the brake, just pause in eack gear for a few seconds then back to part and shut off. Add 3-4 more qts and repeat then leave it running and fill to the level.

Re: It's My World Famous 67 Non Drag Truck
I talked my wife into driving my yellow 67 and me the red 68 to a local night show. It was fun. We both drove up together. She will not admit it but she did like driving it.
