Temp gauge question...
On my 70 the previous owner had aftermarket guages and i'm going back to the stock ones. I've got all but the temp gauge hooked up and i cant seem to find the correct wire that goes into the cluster. Does anyone know which wire in that harness goes to the temp gauge? thanks

Re: Temp gauge question...
The temperature gauge wire is green and it is located in the same harness that has the ignition wire/starter solenoid wire in it. Unless the wire has been cut off, there should be a protective sleeve covering the green wire where it comes out of the harness (the sleeve covers the full length of the exposed green wire). The same color green wire is in the main harness up to the terminal that plugs into the dash panel.

Re: Temp gauge question...
Might be easiest to find the green wire coming out of the dash cluster plug in.
Also it has two different sensors that bolt into the engine. idiot light and gauge sensors.... Good luck wit it!
