Re: It lives again!

Looks sweet Ken, sweet!

One suggestion, ever think about painting the oil filter black or something...to hide it a little better? IMO, the blue kind of sticks out a little and attracts unwanted attention.

Re: It lives again!

Jeff, I don't know why it jumps out so much in the pics. When your looking at the motor it doesn't stand out so bad. I'm going to change to oil this weekend, and I'll paint that filter.

I plan to buy a chrome filter cover as soon as I get a chance to find one.

Ken, Wix filters are slick black right out of the box. That should give you more time to enjoy the ride!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: It lives again!

Hey, that is one sweet looking truck. I wish i had the time and money to fix me up a truck but i'm just barely making it with my ole suburban. I wish i knew where Cypress was because i would really like to make a trip to see the truck in person. Really good looking truck man, wish i had 1.

Re: It lives again!

I echo what the others said. Looks real nice.

The stance is right on. The engine is looking good. But, I bet it sounds just as good cruising...

So, will it make another appearance in a rag?

Re: It lives again!

Yeah the guy that sot it is freelance photographer that shoots for 10 different mags. He did a full feature shoot while it was still in Rockwall. Apparently Street Trucks is interested, but wanted some different exterior shots. He took quit a few still shots then a series of shots while driving.

I'm going to email him and find out if they liked the new ones...
