Wanted, Sun-belt steel-80's Sub-PU...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I need PU doors, 4 Sub doors, step bumper, front fenders w/inners, barn doors. Mechanical; Factory tow hooks, 3 groove (rubber) torsional damper (6.2), 4 tube rad. , 16x wide wheels. Since I live on the Canadian border, (12901) Upstate NY, I'd need these partz shipped, no rush, need to spend as little as possible. Thx, Andrew Last edited by UGLYTRUK; 06-15-2006 at 08:37 AM. |

FWIW, it may be cheaper to buy a whole Sub to get the parts you need. They go for next to nothing here. Check out Craigslist.com, in some of the southern cities. There seems like there is one or two a day here.

I agree, but then I have to ship it, and I'd want to restore it... But I try not to buy rust belt vehicles, but I'm addicted. I'd need a "connection" in the south. And my wife's a pest, and we have two friendly dogs...

If you're in Wisconsin, how would you get partz here? I may be interested for cheap price. Sometimes buying a la carte is pricey. My trucks are beaters, so not a priority. How bad are inners? Pix?... andrewcouchst@netzero.net

Re: Wanted, Sun-belt steel-80's Sub-PU...
i have a friend who has a 30' enclosed trailer who uses it to transport snowmobiels and parts to NY somwhere near the caniadian border. he makes several trips a year. i just went out to get you pics and bats died. i will get them and a price to you today rear doors arnt as nice as the fronts and fenders but will send pics of them as well. inner fenderwells are junk but outers and front doors , grill and bumper are as nice as you will find deep red int with pw and locks i wish i never pulled this moter it was probably the best truck i had! i would be interested in trading for nice 67-72 parts or bbc
