You guys should read this. It is a pretty amazing story, and the guys car sounds cool (at least what is left of it). there is even a reference to a 67 chevy in there.

Sounds to me like the honorary doctor Brown was a major league con man involved with other major league con men to bilk investors out of loads of cash.
