Thumbs up 72 door panel swap and pusher holdy things.......

i got a set of 72 door panels for my 71.

do i just need to drill out the holes to fit the pusher holdy thingies or what ?

also where do i get the new pusher holdy thingies (the white plastic pieces that hold the door panels on)

You can get the plastic clips at just about any parts store. At the major chains look in the "help" section. If you have not changed your regulators or door handle mechanisms you will most likely need to. The 72's have longer posts to allow for the thickness of the panels. Your handles will probably not stay on and the door panels will be warped if you do not change the parts.

1. ok thought so but thanks
2. ya i know. got all the right parts to change over. but i have screw holes/nuts to hold my stock door panels on while the 72's used those pusher holder thingies.

you may have to drill out the nut holes so the push clips will go threw them. I installed the 72 door panels on my 71, 6 years ago.
