Another 85 K20, good deal? questions?

Bad news is my wife and son drove my 1st 85 K20 last week home with a rod knock. Good news? is I found another 85 K20, at of all places, a Pontiac GMC dealership and drove it home for $1500. (they were asking $2300.00) Truck has near new 33 x 12.5 tires on aluminum wheels, a newer small block, is inspected til Nov 1 06, and is already in service (pics show with a full ton of sand in back) Has all these options: C60 A/C (complete but disconnected) , GU6 3:42 rears, N33 tilt, V01 roof markers, V22 deluxe front appearance, YH6 bonus value, CD4 Inter. w/s wipers, K34 Cruise Control, MX0 4 speed auto, J55 HD brakes, NY7 Transfer Case shield, UF2 Cargo Lamp, U35 Quartz electic clock, X6W locking hubs, Z62 Scottsdale Equipment, A28 rear slider, and a quite respectable AM/FM Casette sound system. Has power windows and locks that actually work! Granted, has usual rust, bed floor is good, grill looks like an 84 not an 85. This truck only has 5 leaves at rear. Anyone know the GVW? My other K20 has 8600 GVW on the option sticker. This is also the first 4wd I've had this age with 3:42 rears and overdrive. Going to have to get rid of something soon though, got 5 trucks and a car in the driveway!

Looks like an '83-'84 grill with '85-'87 bezels.
Doesn't look too bad from the pictures, but from where your located I would guess the rust is pretty bad.
Either way, for $1500 I would have bought it!

That's the first K20 which has a bad engine knock. Still runs, no oil on the ground, have to get it checked out. My son and wife were driving it and thought it always sounded that way LOL.
