Tailgate before I stripped it down, the bottom is where paint had gotten scraped off, there is ZERO rust on it

The front is nearly ready for paint. All of the dings have been massaged out, all spot welds filled, this is a nice one. I want to do a custom skin but this tailgate is too nice to do it to. The backside has a few imperfections but nothing too bad. I would trade for a tailgate that needs work + cash OR your old tailgate and a Sir Michaels tailgate skin & handle relocator.

I Sure Wish You Could Ship. Looks Like A Nice Tailgate And I Sure Need One(my Truck Was A Farm Truck From South Dakota And The Tailgate Is Really Banged Up Bad). I Live In Columbus Ohio So Picking It Up Is Out Of The Question. I Would Be More Than Willing To Pay Extra So That Someone Could Pack It For You- I Think Some Shippers Offer To Pack For A Price--not Sure. I Know That Is A "long Shot". Just Thought I'd Throw That Idea Out There.

I will even throw on a fresh coat of primer which will make the face ready to sand and shoot. (I'll epoxy prime the bare spots first). This tailgate has minimal amount of filler ( Marsons finishing putty).

big_mike, I am in So-cal and wondering if you fix stuff like this yourself? if so interested in fixing my suburban liftgate with rust peeking through? actually the whole thing needs body work, but I am starting with the small pieces.
