Brown wires?

Where do the "brown" and "brown with a white stripe" wires on the original wiring harness go? Since I smoothed the firewall, I had to re-route all the wires and I don't recall where these went. I've got them taped together because I remember they went to the same point on the plug block on the firewall. Where did they go from there? To the voltage regulator? They must not be too important since everything seems to be working fine without them. I know the brown w/white stripe comes from the ignition switch and shows 12V with the key on. Anyone know?

i'm not 100% sure on this, but if I remember right, the brown wire goes to the brake pressure warning light, and the brown with white stripe goes to the hot side of the coil.

If DARK brown, then to terminal #4 on the voltage regulator, brale warning is tan and white. There should be no brown and white on 67-72's

My brake warning is tan or light brown. No stripe. Also has a single round female plug with round rubber boot.

I had a similar problem a tad bit more severe. my wires were completely gone. Someone hooked stuff up weird and fried everything had to do a complete redo. I posted a message here and some replied with this.

check that site out it was great. very descriptive. it should tell you I could probably look and tell you myself, but those cover the entire truck just in case you run into any more problems like that you'll know where they go.

The brown wire under my dash that melted down went to the lights... Of course, I wouldn't trust the colors under my dash, I pulled about 50 of unconnected wire from under the dash after that.
