Cab Questions

Last week I pulled back my carpet on the passenger side to reveal a hole and rust......It looks like inner and outer rockers, part of the floor and the kick panels will need to be replaced. I Can turn a wrench, but I have never welded. While at a savage yard today I found a unmolested and rust free cab for $200. That has me debating now if a cab swap would be the most economical thing to do. The cab I found is an auto and I have a 4 speed 2wd. Is there a difference? Has anyone out there done this swap? I did a search and didn't find a whole lot and I wasn't quite sure where to post this. I'm looking forward to hearing what you guys have to say. Here's a couple of pics of the rust.

Re: Cab Questions

200 bucks isnt too bad
thats alot of work though also
by the way there is no difference between auto and manual cabs
just 2wd and 4wd cabs being as the hump is larger on 4wds
