Looking for a fender badge....

Hey Ya'll-

I have a 1971 Chevy Custom/Camper. It's basically a C/20 with the Cheyenne package and some cool stuff on it to carry a cab over camper. I bought the truck in 1996 and the camper came with it. The camper was basically toast and I sold it when someone offered me more than I thought it would ever bring but I've still got the truck. ANYWHO..... the other day, I was running down the road and the right front tire blew out. A big hunk of tread started pinwheeling around and around and it beat up the inner fender pretty bad but that's ok cause I can get a new one. But after I got my spare on and got the truck home, I noticed that the fender badge took a big whack and had a section gone from the middle. Now I'm planning on restoring this truck and I really don't want to just put another C/20 badge on there. I'd really like to find the correct "Custom/Camper" badge. I've already tried the resto parts folks like LMC Truck. It's a no go. This badge was apparently as rare as my factory air.

If anyone knows where I can score one, I'd sure be grateful.

As soon as I find my digital, I'll take a photo of the driver's side so that folks can see what it's supposed to look like.

Thanks for any and all help.

Re: Looking for a fender badge....

The emblems aren`t all that rare, nor factory a/c,but they aren`t reproed. They did run from 69-72 which helps.Sounds like the truck I had.You say it has Cheyenne package, but is badged as a CustomCamper/20.So it has carpet, scrolled vinyl seat, woodgrain belt moulding and tailgate band?Does the VIN-spec sheet on the glovebox door say CustomSportTruck Equipt?
