Fuel tank venting
No not venting about an install
Question about tank venting I have 72 tank in and ready to hook up lines but really not sure what to do with the return line to the charcoal canister in pass front fender as I wasn't planning on replacing it. What should I do about the venting? Don't want to just leave the return line open behind seat as that would put vapors in truck. Can't really seal off vent tube coming out of tank as 71-72 gas cap is non vented and the 69 style doesn't seem to fit the neck of my 72 tank anyway.. . What have you guys done in this situation as I am sure no one really reinstalls that canister do they?

Re: Fuel tank venting
Tanks on both my 52 and 69 are not vented. The replacement caps only allow air to get sucked in, they don't vent out. It also keeps fuel from running down the side of the truck. I would cap the vent and not worry about it.
