Re: Shocking!!!!!!!!!

Why build a machine like that if it will never see the mud or dirt of any sort? If I would put money like that into something, you better bet your @ss that itll eat mud! Thats crazy.

That`s why I`m not into show/no go.That`s all it is and I`m sure(I hope)the owner knows it.There`s no function there.Big "A" tires/light weight axles/45deg.rear housing?I don`t think he could cruise the hardtop far before roaching the bone-dry pinion bearing.I THINK IT`S COOL LOOKING.But like women, that`s only good for so much.

Re: Shocking!!!!!!!!!

That truck is straight out of the 80s show truck scene, all it needs is like 25 off road lights and a big 4x4 sticker on the windshield.

I`ll bet Rancho helped fund the shock purchase(he prolly depleted their stock). One stipulation:Gotta leave`um white w/red boots. He`s got about $3G in shocks!!I wonder if he used shocks for motor mounts and door stops.

It is a drop bracket for the sway bar.

Re: Shocking!!!!!!!!!

I didn't say he needed one.............just that he has one. He needs that about like he needs all of those shocks. That thing would be so stiff that it would be totally useless anyway. I don't think I would want a chrome swaybar anyway. If it did flex it would probably flake the plating off or even snap on two from hydrogen embrittlment.

Re: Shocking!!!!!!!!!

I remember that some of those shocks on trucks would not be functional. They were just for looks.
