Is this a good buy 32" MT Baja for $250

THis seems like a good buy for my project 68 SWB 4x4. 4ea MT Baja Radials with approx 70% tread left for $250 cash. I only have to drive 1:30 to get them tomorrow. They are 32x12.5x15 which should fit my stock suspension perfect. i really wanted some BFG's MT but your talking $800 new. These seem in great consdition and a fair price. Thanks for any advice...

They look good, but being bias ply tires, it will make your truck drive terrible. The tracktion will also be bad on the road. They will also wear out about three times as fast as a set of BFG's. About the only thing I would buy them for is the retro look. IMO the BFG's are worth ten times what these tires are, if you want to drive your truck.

thanks...I decided to pass since it was a four hour round trip. He wasn't willing to drop the price either. I hope to find a good used set of BFG's at Carlisle in two weeks. I won't be doing road trips with the truck but a set of radials will be better.

Take a look at the Pro Comp's. They come from Continental, which is the same place that makes the BFG mud terrians. I have had both, and the only difference between the two sets of tires was that the pro comps have holes in the lugs for studs. I bought them at the bloomsburg show two years ago and they were buy three, get the fourth free.

I am sure there will be some out there at carlisle. I'll be going on saturday.

I have had my 35" BFGoodriches on my Blazer forever and they are a great tire. I stronly reccommend them. Pro Comps are not too bad either.

Re: Is this a good buy 32" MT Baja for $250

Hey tgh117 and Hoods69BadBowTie - is there anyway you guys could post pics? I'm looking at either 33's or 35's for my '95 Z71 (no lift) and would love to see what those tires look like.

I'm sure the 35's won't fit unless I add a lift to my truck, but I'd still love to see them nonetheless.

Thanks!
