Re: PIC REQUEST - dropped w/stock wheels

I've noticed that as the years go on the leaf's get weak and they tend to sag.Make sure you do'nt have a sagging ass(lol) or you'll be more like 4/7 drop.........solve the problem and bag it.

Mine are 15X8. I think they were available in 15X6 and 15X7 also. I heard the 15X6 were used on vans, but I don't know if that is true. You can get aftermarket 15X10 rallys from wheel vintiques and people like that, but I don't thing they made any factory ones.

Boxrodz answered the backspacing question in an earlier post in this thread. I don't know anything about the backspacing on them. They were factory, and were on the truck when I got it. I was told they would fit once it ws lowered, and they did, so I didn't care about the backspacing.

Oops, completley missed that for some reason.

Hey Slonaker, thanks a lot man, I appreciate it. I finally found the oem style wheels on the wheel vintiques site, can't find the price on them though. Are your wheels OEM, or aftermarket?

**EDIT**
NM I found the price, not bad at all. Quick question though, it says bolt circle is 5-5 isn't is supposed to be 5x4.75?

Nah, 5 on 5 should do it unless you got a non-stock bolt pattern.

Re: PIC REQUEST - dropped w/stock wheels

Cool. Thanks for the info.

Anybody know if the 15x8 stock rims would clear up front? or would they hit the fender? I'm planning on bagging it in the future.

Re: PIC REQUEST - dropped w/stock wheels

4/6 drop flip kit notched frame. 15x8 rallys 235 70 series tires front. . 1" wheel spacers, I use wheel wieghts that glue on the inside of the rim. Because the normal ones that go on the edge rub on the a arm. Grind off most all the lip off the a-arm. Regular length headers no problem. Just dont go fast over speed bumps. does it rub? yes it rubs on extreme right turns. bigger wheels best fix.

I bought some wheel vintique hubcaps for my '37 Chevy. Summit had a good price on them because of their cheap shipping (which may not apply to wheels). You might see how they compare.

I have 15X8 Rally wheels all around with 255/70/15 Radial TAs. With my 2.5' drop spindles, the tires don't hit anything EVER. I have had that combo for 2.5 years with no problems. No matter how fast I go or how far I turn the wheel, the tire never hits anything. I am wondering now if I can go an inch lower in the front.

No idea how it would work with bags. Too high dollar for me.
