Not sure this goes here or Review section, but it is a new problem from our friends (?) overseas. When every other industry is trying to make product improvements---these things show up in a big shipment. We are going backwards.
Rear wheel tubs: look at the severe wrinkling in the corners. We had some problems in the past, but NEVER this bad.
I thought you should be warned, before buying this part...ask about bad stampings before you order/buy. I am probably stuck with a bunch of them, because it costs too much to return...if they would even take them back.

That sucks for you to have to eat those Frank. You would think they could work with you if you sent photos instead of shipping returning them.

are those stock sizes or extra deep oe style??? im not picky and will need bigger than stock.

I like replacement parts that need less work than the piece I`m replacing.That is just sub-standard for anywhere in the world.My cheapo BBQ is made better than that!

There's always people who need them for daily drivers, offer them to people for a deal and think you'll have no problem getting rid of them.

I agree.
In response to the original question of the post title, "Would you buy one of these?":
Not for my finished truck that is a "show/driver".
But like Ron said, if I had a worker/driver that needed them, and you offered them at near your cost, just a little over, sure, I'd pick a set up. Sometimes cheap will work - and if they are gonna get beat up anyhow, why not.

Maybe it's one that's been returned by 10 different people or has been sitting in a warehouse for 10 years... at least I hope... I sure don't want quality going backwards!!!

Something like that should not pass any quality control.Evidently,quality control doesn`t exist at that company.I wouldn`t want my name on a product like that.They should take it back,n/c,and apologize for jambing you up.This is busuness to business.That would be the last business I`d do with them,if they don`t get straight with you on it.
I`ve never seen one that needed replaced except to restore a bed to pretty.I wouldn`t go through the effort of changing one on a driver to end up with that.Bondo won`t hold up with real truck use.In a work truck,why replace them just to beat them up again,which will be easier with repro stampings.It`s just worthless sheetmetal,I`d be pizzed.

These are fresh new housings, not old or returned. This is the first time they have come individually boxed, rather than in bulk quantities. Nice boxes-bad parts. I opened the first two for display and then just quit and put them all out in storage. We can't sell crap like this!
I do not know how we are ever going to get these overseas parts cleaned up. Some of the same problems & complaints have been going on for years!

That's unbelieveable - took me a minute to even see that they were actually even tubs. It's sad you have to eat an order like that!

So sad, but i agree with a couple of the others on here. Maybe you can regain some of your money by selling to people for their work trucks.

i wouldn't buy them. obviously there is a serious problem with they're stamping machine or stamps, i would call and screem and yell untill something happens. there is really no excuse for what they shipped you. the only way i can see you marketing these is cutting them up and selling them as patch panels.

Sell them to guys who would like to "Tub" their ride. Looks like the inboard crinkled part could be cut off and the good part welded to an orig set of wheel tubs. I bought a set of floor pans from LMC that were wrinkled like that and sent 'em back at my own cost.

I`d weld a patch before going through the work to change that just to put one in with more wrinkles that w.Bush`s forehead.

Answer to question-No. It's hard to feel sorry for anyone who gets stuck buying cheap fuggin overseas crap to replace U.S. made original parts. As long as the overseas cheapie companies are making money don't ever expect quality to be in parts description. I guess that is what it comes down to- less made here and everything else comes from overseas. The walmart attitude. it would be good to see machine shops and factories reopen making quality parts again here in U.S. Probably just a dream though. Good luck.
