what hurst 4 speed shifter?
i want to buy a new shifter before i put the muncie 4 speed in. since i am putting buckets in shift handel location should not be a problem. what is the differance between the Hurst competion plus and the street super shifter? has anyone used either in their truck? thanks. pkj

We have the Hurst Street Super Shifter. Its very soild and I like it. Heres a pic of it in the truck, it look short but its easy to grab

I'll have to measure for you but I'd say ~10-12 inches. Its actually the Super Shifter 3. Bought it from Jegs for $169.99 part # 530-491-0001 along with Installation Kit for Muncie Transmission Code 452, 453 part # 530-373-0007 $113.99

The Super 3 has a reverse lock out. Other than that I dont know

i've got a competion plus in mine and love it, the stick postion is even with the bench seat and looks like it would be to get to than 1970 cst short wide's. i can take a pic if you'd like. chris.

i've always liked the competition plus and the nice thing it's easy to make a shift handle for them to clear about anything and you can go tall too
