All guage fittings this ****y design ?
I'm very unimpressed with these VIAIR gauges,
dual needle white face, well i had an air leak at the backside that i found with soapy water, fairly large leaks...so i tightened up the 1/8" inch union on the backside and the fitting/mounting stud starts to spin, now i'm screwed, try to back it off and of course it spins again, now i've got a huge leak pissing in my face. Broke that ***** off...then went to loosen the other side so i could switch my lines around and of course it was on tight enough that the fitting/mounting stud spins as well, so i broke that sucker too. $40 a guage, installed for 2 days, poor design in my opinion, before this problem i had ordered a single needle easystreet gauge through work, if i have to i can get firestones as well. But if all the fittings are this way then i need some tips on getting them to seal, and once they are tight enough to seal how the hell do you back them off if you ever have to ?? And i doubt i'll be able to get warantee on it, i bought through a small shop, its not his fault, but it isnt really mine either, my beef is with VIAIR, but how am i going to get them to listen ??

It's definitley no fun when money gets thrown away. If you ave to buy some new gauges try out Master Image Customs. They have some nice dual needle gauges that are affordable and the fittings for the line are the type that you push the airline into. They have worked well for me in the past.
