Brake Lever Rod Length?

I have a '68 C-10 that orginally came with No power brakes. Recently, I have upgraded to a '72 Dual Diaphram 3/4 Brake Booster/MC.

I have adjust the length of the brake lever rod, but I want to make sure there isn't a "Power Brake" rod that I need to purchase to complete the upgrade. I believe the previous owner upgraded the rod to a power brake type, but just need to know the length of the rod.

I am trying to strengthen the power of my brakes which are currently 4wheel disc, and the brake power is not as strong as I expected.

If someone might have any info on the length, I would appreciate the help.

Re: Brake Lever Rod Length?

The adjustable rod from the pedal to the booster is different. The non power one has a rounded tip that just pushes directly into the master cylinder. The power one has an eyelet for connecting to linkage behind the booster. They don't interchange.

Re: Brake Lever Rod Length?
