'71/'72 Calipers/differences
I HAVE A '71 FRAME UNDER MY '67 2WD LWB FLEETSIDE. WHEN I WENT TO PRICE OUT CALIPERS FOR IT, THE PRICES WERE RIDICULOUS!!!!! BUT IF I WANTED '72 CALIPERS, THE PRICES WERE IN LINE WITH MOST OTHER G.M. PRODUCTS. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO, AND CAN I USE THE '72 AND UP CALIPERS ON THE '71? ALSO, DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF ANYONE MAKES S/S BRAIDED BRAKE HOSES FOR OUR TRUCKS?? ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS IN ADVANCE, MIKE P.S. BTW, THE TRUCK IS A C/10. I DIDN'T SEE THIS OMISSION TILL I POSTED IT

the banjo fittings are different on the brake hoses,I ran into that problem on a 71. i could only find the later caliper,& had to change the brake hose to use it......I thought the swich over was 73, but its been a while. At any rate, the caliper fit.....just needed a different hose.......crazy longhorn
