so i ran across my 72 lwb from back in high school
yep i found the 72 lwb custom 10 i had back in high school with factory air that i restored, shaved the marker lights all the trim and the back of the cab seem as well as mad a corner for the front fender and rockers and cab corners that i put in it, anyways it was in my long lost uncles house that i ran across today!!! the truck has kinda went down but it still has the 355 in it just like it was when i owned it last my nephew ended up with it and i never seen it again it went to oklahoma for a few years and thats the last i heard about it as i lost contact with most of my family, but it has been parked at my uncles for 3 yrs!!!! so he pretty much told me he was tired of lookin at it and for me to do something with it so i'm thinkin now i might just put the cab on the swb frame with the stepside bed or i can go ahead with the 69 and build it and get the 72 running again and have them both any thoughts on what to do???? make one truck or drive them both???? oh i'll take pictures of it ASAP!!!!!

My ride from high school is probably 3 or 4 toyotas....I didn't give her up until she was DONE! There was no saving her.
That's cool that you found it!

If you can afford both, have both! Probably the truck you had in high-school would bring back old memories, so if I were you, I'd hang on to it awhile. Just IMO.

yeah the more i think about it i'll probably just drive the 72 and use it as my daily won't take much to get it back on the road and continue on with the 69 as planned, it would really be hard to take that 72 apart since my dad helped me work on it some and he is passed on now

Go for that high school truck and drive it and keep on the road. You will be one less guy sitting around wishing they had their high school ride back.
How many times have you heard "man I wish I had my (insert your 72 here) that I drove in high school"?
