GMC or GMT?
Hey all. My uncle was out looking at this truck that some guy told him about and he found that the tail gate was embosed with the letters GMT rather than GMC. This set him back a little bit since he had no idea what it was. He called me since I have bit more knowledge on GMC/Chevy's than he does but I don't know. He said that the owner thought it was a '48 and my uncle said it had a front end similar to my 53 GMC panel truck. Is this a rare truck? Did GMC embose GMT in the tail gates sometimes? I know that they put that name on the chrome stripe above the dash grill but I've had never heard of or seen it anywere else.
Thanks Panelrodder

Re: GMC or GMT?
There's a '57 big window up here for sale. The tailgate says "Chebrolet."
