Humps & Hoods ??

Humps first. Has anyone ever cut out a low standard 67-68 floor pan trans.hump and install a stock removeable high hump. Like 4 speeds use. Wondering about the fit to the floor and sealing.

Hoods Anyone got pictures of custom 67-68 chevy truck hoods, besides the cowl induction ones , that are from goodmark and etc. Like to get a few ideas, cowl induction hoods are nice, but everyones got them on there truck.

Thanks !

Yeah, there is even an outline to follow for the hump. I haven't done it yet, but some day when I start working on the trazer I'm gonna have to do it.

Re: Humps & Hoods ??

It's really easy to do. Just put hump cover over floor. Contour is already on floor. Mark holes, drill and cut out about 1/2" inside of holes. Bought j-nuts at hardware store. They slide over edge of opening to drilled holes. Bolt on.Worked real nice on my trazer..........Rick

I haven't seen many hoods outside of the cowl. If you're creative, I would guess you could make whatever you wanted. The cowl fits the lines nice.

Re: Humps & Hoods ??

Someone on here was doing a Olds 442 scoops on a truck hood. They looked the best of the options I'd seen.
