Pulley Problems!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help

Can anyone help? I a'm putting power steering on my 68 panel. I put a 3 ring crank pulley on but now the old 2 ring waterpump pulley is too big to go on. So I looked at a buddy's 70 that came with p/s and his has a smaller waterpump pulley on it.But it is a 3 ring is that for a/c ? if so thats what I want. I'm going to put a/c on next spring. So I started looking for a 3 ring pulley and have no luck what's up with that? help please Bill

Re: Pulley Problems!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help

my 67 has a small 3 groove crank pulley and the big single groove pulley on the water pump. It came with power steering from the fatory. The ac was a dealer installed under dash unit. The crank pulley is small and cast iron I'll have to look and see if it has a part number on it.

Re: Pulley Problems!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help

A 2 groove water pump and a 3 groove crank pulley should have you good to go for A/C and power steering. You might try ebay for pulley sets. Some of these old trucks have more than one pulley that you combine to build the 2 or 3 groove for the crank. Also make sure they are coming off the same kind of engine (short or long water pump).
