Tiggerstoy: I just stopped in here because I an considering buying a pristine '74. That story is pretty grim and I wish I hadn't read it. I had a guy wreck my car about 5 years ago and I got a call from the D.A. asking if I wanted to pursue " restitution". I thought " Oh sure, the guy had no license and was an " illegal alien" but I filled out the form anyway. They made the guy pay me $100 a month after he got out of jail under the threat of being sent back. He dragged his feet and missed nearly all court dates etc. but eventually paid me off. Pretty rare I'm sure but worth a try if your state has such a thing going.- Brian

OK,I didn't notice that. I didn't have insurance either. It's just a pretty cool law here in California enabling one to recover damages from the perpetrator of a crime.

Here is my rig, a 1978 Chevy Scottsdale, with a freshly built 305 and th350 tranny which was also rebuilt. I put in 1990 blazer seats and 1988 blazer doors. Will do a 3/5 drop this week.
engine before:

and after:

Truck now but now it has no tints or red winshield thing:

this was the interior before:

cant find pic of an after

And here is the old engine it had:

And for some fun here are my dads rides:
55 chevy 210 all original

1956 belair 4door hardtop RARE!
\
And our baby before(which we sold because we needed the money :-(.

And our baby now with a 1969 corvette 350w/ 4 speed muncie, this truck is FAST! Front clip from a firebird and rear end from a camaro!

Huh? I was talking about the box in the front of the bed, a cut-through is when you cut out the back cab wall and front of the bed, put a "gasket" inbetween the cab wall and front of the bed to connect & seal it.
