axle swaps????
what is involved in swapping the axles in my '69 6 lug.i would like to go 5 lug...will 71 and 72 axles fit mine ...is it really hard to do it....can i do it at home with basic tools or do i need to take it to a shop for the seals or anything else....THANKS

If you have a '70 you can swap to 71-72 axles and drums. The 67-69 housings are narrower. Best bet is to buy a 71-72 complete assembly and swap it in. If you have big back tires and custom offset wheels, it may be best to buy some drums and aftermarket axles for your housing.
