Is there a better more volume fan shroud for the heaters? I want to make a custom center counsle that routes heater/A/C ducts to blow on rear passangers. And need more volume. Any ideas?

I had the same idea. Not yet to that point on the blazer though. My dad has a VintageAir unit on his 71 truck and it has more volume than my wifes 97 Ponitiac GTP. Only problem is it is LOUD!! This is on a non-A/C truck. I bought a center console from a 99 and up extended cab truck for my Blazer. It has A/C vents built into the back for the rear passangers. On a high hump, these consoles fit perfectly. Before I tore the Blazer down for the frame-off, I test fitted the console. It will be awhile before I get to the interior, as the blazer is in a million pieces in the garage. ![]() Later, Chad

What about one out of an 85 BMW 528e? It is mounted in the center console right behind and below the heater controls. German quality! Hey wait! I have one! I can get some pictures for you in a week or two ...

Just an idea, but my 93 suburban has an addition fan/squirrel cage in its rear unit. Maybe rigging up an addition fan would suit your needs.

All good ideas. But if I rigged another fan in the rear wouldn't I need another heater core? I really would like to keep all the big stuff under the dash and just route ducting.
