Re: got my new (OLD) hubcaps anyone else like the stock look ?

Welcome to the boards from Philly, my vote is stock, it's just to clean to mess with. Can't believe no rust, that never happens on the East Coast! More progress pics. as go along pls.
You won't believe the stock parts you'll find in the classified, join up, best money you'll spend on your project
May I ask what you paid for it?

sure , I paid 4K for the truck and about a grand$ of part's
I got the truck a new radiator support (RUSTED UNDER BATTERY)
both front inner fender's new dash pad all new felt's and rubber for the doors
got the protecto plate original warranty booklet and owners manual , the original spare had never out from under the bottom of it ,
some may think that was to much but I am sick and tired of running from town to town chasing trader ad's that read (ITS GOOD SHAPE) this truck is what I wanted so it's now mine , I can do all the bodywork and paint myself cheap so that is not an issue , here is a shot of the original paperwork kinda ads to it as well I thought ,,

Re: got my new (OLD) hubcaps anyone else like the stock look ?

I say chop the top, convert the front clip to a 72, cut the frame and convert it to a shorter swb, lower it with spindles and springs, then give it a body drop so that it's slammed with bags, then tint the windows, add flames and a cool checkered paint theme, and put a hot tub in the back!!!

J/k, I think I might add some LT tires instead, and that would still look stock, but that's just me. I look forward to seeing more pics of your stock truck down the road. I like it alot! Nice to see someone keeping 'er the way she came from the showroom floor.

Btw, looks like you have a great place to live-nestled into the hills and trees.

Looks great. I vote for not letting the dogs pee on those hubcaps! I wouldn't change anything on this.

I like your plans for it, I'd drive it as is and make all us guys that like to customize them jealous.
