Not sure, but that sounds to me like a lot of backspace. I'm sure someone will know much better than me though.

Re: Wheel Opinions
Hope your getting the 6 luggers, not those pictured.
4.5" might be to much back spacing. My 10" alloy's w/4" back spacing almost touch the tie rod end as it is. Nice wheels for sure! Last edited by vtblazer; 10-09-2006 at 06:27 PM. |

Re: Wheel Opinions
Guess they are not offering many options just yet. Knew 4 was optimum. I was wondering about 10's but apparently availibility is key, may wait.

Re: Wheel Opinions
One thing for sure, w/ 33's you won't have any clearance issues

Re: Wheel Opinions
I wouldn't touch a 4.5 backspacing unless you don't mind running spacers.

Re: Wheel Opinions
The ansen sprints just don't have the lip or dish of the old slots. You might want to look at some in person before dropping the $ for them.

Re: Wheel Opinions
I tried a set off 16" wheels with 4" backspacing, they hit. The wheels I currently use are 15" and have 3.625" backspacing and look like max backspacing without hitting. I have the stock 1/2 ton suspension.
VT, you run 3/4 ton suspension? Is that what might be the difference?

Re: Wheel Opinions
I run 33" with no lift, 15x8's with about 3.5" BS and had 10" with maybe 3.75?? Both worked great.
