frame ?
I have two swb frames and I am trying to decide which one to use. They both have a couple issues. One of which is these two holes . The other swb one does not have them and neither does the lwb that I am converting from, or any other frame that I have looked at recently . They appear to be symmetrical and from the factory but I was wondering if anybody has seen them or know what they are for. Thanks , Jason

I have those on 2 frames. If that is the only "issue" consider it a non-issue. They are factory holes and have no effect on strength.
No I don't know what they are for |

The holes are one of the issues, The other is that the front support member is bent and torn out of the back rivets.
I will be adding a sway bar and the brackets for the sway bar use the same rivit holes as the cross member so I would have to remove them anyway. If I can determine that whatever bent the cross member did not bend the front end too, I guess I can replace the cross member and have a good frame then. I took the front end clip off yesterday, but with the cab still on, is there a way to check the front end to make sure it's not bent. Where is the best place to measure and what measurements am I looking for.

that front cross memeber is really easy to bend ..but dont think i ever saw one pull away from the rivits ..seen alot of the have loose rivits
