I was so sick of everyone's comments I couldn't help but

get rid of them fugly 5 lug white spokes on the front of my truck. Y'all know, the ones with the blue-wall tires?

I got some things tidied up this weekend on the truck. I got the ECE 6 luggers on, got my LED tailights working, put in my new used seat, seatbelts, and cleaned the old girl up and took her for a drive. What a frickin blast! Here's some pics 'cause I know y'all love 'em. I have a video "walking around" the truck so if someone could host it for me I could send it to them????

Looks great! What size tires did you go with? I still can't decide what to put on mine.

BF Goodwrench 235-75-R15. They ride NICE too. I think they were $425 for everything from discount tire. (mount balance etc.)

that looks 10 times better.
Great work.

It's amaxing how crappy wheels with painted tires can make a vehicle look bad, and a simple set of classiy rims and new tires make it look totally bad ass.

Yes they are, and yes, they are! I picked them based on the "tire rating system." The recieved top marks and other "customers" rated them well. I think they only thing they weren't best in was they got a "B" for wet weather stopping, but I try to not drive the '67 in the rain anyway, the backend gets real squirley when it's wet. I've only had the truck up to about 65 so far (I THINK, I broke the retainer clip to the speedo gear, so I don't have a speedo yet, still have to fix that) but I had it at 2000 RPM in overdrive and they rode VERY NICE down the road. It almost felt like a new truck, and also...

SWAY BARS ROCK!

In just a couple short test drives I noticed A HUGE difference in handling. I'm thinking about one for the rear now.

Re: I was so sick of everyone's comments I couldn't help but

I have YET to see a single taillight configuration that I liked MORE than the stock set-up... not the el camino bumper, rollpans with lights, or lights molded into the fenders. The best one that I ever remember seeing used early 70's camaro taillights (the round ones) molded into the fenders.
