Need your opinion
Do I keep the stock fenders and restore them or do I install some rust free fenders that I have shaved and install the cheyenne trim and emblems to them. The only thing I can not reverse is that I have shaved the side markers. What should I do, the little lady says go with the shaved fenders and add the moldings. I am so confused!! This is for my 72 swb cheyenne fleetside. Sorry the pics are a little blurry, I am blind.

Re: Need your opinion
In my opinion, if you are going back with upper and lower trim, it will not look right without the marker lights. Is this a resto or custom? Show us some truck progress pics!

Re: Need your opinion
Hugger, this is the truck I bought from STP that you sold to him. I can not leave anything alone. I have been fighting not tampering with it but I am going to shave the stake pockets, paint it House of Kolor Tangelo pearl where the blue is and modified Cadillac Pearl white where the white is. It is mine but building it the way the wifey wants it. It will have complete orange interior, carpet seats and all with leather seats and orange suede inserts. Airbags and 22's in the rear and 20's in the front.

Re: Need your opinion
I thought that was it. Sounds like a pretty good plan. With that much customizing, shaving the markers might just fit. Heck, if she likes it, do it!
