Power steering High Pressure line

There is a steel line from the steering box to the high pressure hose on my 69 K-20. It has a tight bend at the hose end that interferes with the fitting nut and it evidently was not backed off fully on the last thread or so and the threads won't allow dissasembly or reassembly at this point, the nut just spins. I have tried a lot of this and that to get it apart, or back together and now I am giving it up.
What part numbers do I look for , if known. or are they available from parts houses and not GM. I nedd to replace the high pressure hose anyway so I guess the steel line is not that much more to deal with..

Any info, as usual, greatly appreciated.

Re: Power steering High Pressure line

Take the old one with you to the parts store, if their computer don't go back that far just get one for a 72, should be the same thing. I have lines from a 72 GMC 2wd on my K20.

Re: Power steering High Pressure line

Wolfthing, I have a extra set of brand new power steering hoses for our trucks. I goofed and ordered two sets form the truckshop They are $22 for the high pressure and $10 for the return line. If you are interested in them I would go $30 shipped for the pair, probably about the same as you will pay locally for the one high pressure locally. They are nice quality hoses, can get pics if needed.
