You had me wondering there for a minute , so I went and checked and it does have 8 spark plugs.

Re: 5 well ok now 6 truck retrieval progress!

Sorry, it looked like an old 59 GMC I had with a 351 V6 in it. Now that I looked closer, the rams horn exhaust manifolds do look like the one I just pulled off of my 71 350 V8.
Again, when can I come and get that front clip. Or the entire truck for that matter...

Re: 5 well ok now 6 truck retrieval progress!

It took longer than we expected, then again most things do. I have never changed so many wheels in my life. We have gotten 4 of the 6 out already. Two a week ago Friday and two that Saturday.

Re: 5 well ok now 6 truck retrieval progress!

This yellow one went straight to my shop to be disassembled. I will use the fenders a door and the frame for my project.

Litl’ red turned out to be a decent hauler.

Last one. I can't decide on starting on the last two today or going hunting for a 72 4x4.

Can I just tell you how much I hate privet bush? Looks like that's what is growing all up underneath those trucks.

Excellent! Old V8 Chevys, Dry Climate, Internationals, and tractors too. It doesn't get much better.

You might want to check out some Inrternational forums. The guys that build them old "Binders" don't have much aftermarket stuff and will pay top $$$ for just about anything they can get.Might finance your next gold mine find.
BTW I really wish I was back in Tx the land of less rusted sheet metal.

Yeah, I am kinda checking into that. Once I finish getting my trucks out, I will try to work some deal with him on the internationals. I just don't want to press my luck til I get my trucks out of there. I kinda lucked out on this deal. I have ran into several people while moving the trucks and everyone of them have said that the old man will not sell them a single thing out of this field. I think he was amused at the fact that I work for the RR and kinda just took up with me. Other than that I can't think of a reason why he decided to sell me this stuff when he turned down so many others.

That sounds interesting and appealing, but I was under the impression that the frames themselves are different on a 4x4.... I have three swb frames and would build a 4x4 one, but I am kinda anal when it comes to "correctness". Plus I need a 4x4-v8 title and vin plate!
