Q-jet fast idle?
My son's 71 k-10 has no fast idle. The choke seems to be working right, the fast idle solenoid works, but the idle is very low. It is almost impossible to adjust the idle speed screw on the throttle butterflies because the solenoid is in the way. There are two vacuum ports on the solenoid. They are not hooked up. Do these get ported or manifold vacuum? Thanks for any replies.

Re: Q-jet fast idle?
I thought the fast idle speed was on the left hand side of the carb down below the throttle shaft. It's pretty small and hard to see.

Re: Q-jet fast idle?
Thanks for the picture. I thought the solenoid on the other side controlled fast idle. I'll check the linkage tommorrow.
