Post AZ members get together?

Ok ive met like 1 AZ member and one from Texas. All us lame azzes need to get something together at a park, someones house a lake, park or something, have a BBQ and koolaid,or booze, and BS.my truck aint much to look at,but its cool if you notice all the extras.its primer gray dented and ugly. But id like to get to know someof the members put a face and hes a d!ck with a name,i get along with everyone, aslong as you dont mind some sick humor. So maybe a church gathering wouldnt be in order.By the way whatever happened to the Ryan68 guy,or did he change his name?i thought he was in Phoenix.

I am in. I'd like to find out who's behind the wheels of the trucks I admire, maybe bring out some hot dogs and some cokes.
- I was hanging out with an old truck crew called timeless cruisers, but they meet way too far away - scottsdale ahwatooke
-- sounds good to me though.

I bet my mom would let me have it over there they have a few acres, and a very nice swimming pool and cool deck area, and a big barb-qer out there, ill take my shirt off to swim or float if you guys have bellys too!Theyes are close to the freeway about 6 miles North of my house, then you could meet the infamous brother of mine(be warned he will question you to death about your truck)and show you his 442.my sister wont come out of her room but get a few beers in my stepdad im sure hed cook,he likes old cars and tell you about this 283 4spd 4.56 geared 57 Chevy he had, then show you his 50 stude truck, with the service block and factory mculough supercharger.my moms the best, shell be nice even if she dont like you,its all gated and fenced,we could drink have a good time, its a very large home it and the property are the whole corner of the block.I will be standing at the gate taking guest passes, and if your not in a old chevy you will be executed.and if we run out of beer we can raid his garage fridge always a cold 30pk in there, and his liquor closet has several different 5ths.from Tequila to Rum to Whiskey,or you can have kool aid-dont matter lets hook this up,get some people together might be boring if only 2 people show.

While you guys are at it can someone hall my 67 burb from Tuscon (Vail) to DesertRat's place in Case Grande? I need it moved by mid-may. Micah has agree to store it until June when it gets picked up. It has no motor or tranny but does roll. Anybody? I'll supply beer money for your party!

I am serious too.

I'm in! When are we doing it?

If you want to come up out of the heat, we could get together up here (in Eastern AZ, in the pines). Bring tents/travel trailers! There's four motels for those of you who don't camp. There's Big Lake and Crescent Lake (for fishing only ), Lyman Lake for water-skiing/fishing, tons of places to shoot guns (we could even go to my Dad's ranch).

CPNE, If my pickup got more than 7mpg, I'd go move the thing for you.

Hmmm...depending on when it happens, I might be able to do it, lol...I'm probably related to half of the people in Casa Grande / Coolidge somehow, heh, both sides are from there...I need a 700R4 in my truck though, but when I do, I plan on taking it down there at least once, to get an update on an ooooold photo of it I have, hehe.

Casa Grande is a good location for me. I'm going to be split between Chandler/Tempe and Tucson later this year once I start at UofA...which is why I'm getting the 700R4.

Hey, Project 1970, I'm lookin' for a 700, too. The last one I got (for the Studebaker) I scored for 75.00 and had my tranny guy rebuilld it and install it for about 1300.00. I suspect it will be more to do my 1 Ton from a 4 speed. I got a column with automatic shifter from Meathead95 and need to clean it up and paint it. Good luck on your search. If you need to have it rebuilt, I'll put you in touch with my tranny guy if you want.
