Hello, SO CAL Newbie - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello all, I purchaed a 1970 C10 a few weeks ago and I am starting a 24 month build on it that will include a Gen III Chevy LQ4 with forged internals with a T70 Turbo. I have some big plans for this truck and I am looking forward to sharing the progress with the board! I am sure I will tap the resources here and use the search button OFTEN! Thanks for a great site!!

Nice ride. Looks like you have less to do to it than a lot of us have to do to what we find.That's in good shape.

the truck is pretty much original from 70 so everything is there. There are the usual dents and knicks, but the truck is complete. I have found only one spot of serious rust, and its not even that bad....

I am going to pick up some Rally wheels tomorrow 15x8 in the front and 15x10 in the rear. I hope to have the brothers trucks front disk / drop conversion coming in the next week, I will post up some pics then. The motor should be done in the next two weeks and ready for install. I am planning a 3 stage build that will take about 24-36 months to make it easier on the bank! I will post up some pics of the new wheels once I get em!
