Seven Days

I wanted to stir up everyone's imagination a little bit. Seven days from now will be a special day. I will not give any hints!!!!

It will be a day that will live in infamy!!

PS--Thought police, put down your imaginations a little. It won't be anything but a harmless post on this board!!!

Re: Seven Days

Well if you mean 7 days from the 1st how about,
2001: The Taleban surrender Kandahar, marking the beginning of the end for the Terrorost group in Afghanistan.

Or if your into Rock and Roll,
1971: The Montreux Casino in Switzerland is set ablaze by someone wielding a flare gun during a Frank Zappa concert; the incident would be immortalized in the Deep Purple song "Smoke on the Water".

Or if your referring to 7 days AFTER the 1st ie; the 8th,
1980: Mark Chapman gunned down John Lennon in front of his Dakota street apartment in NYC.

Or,
1987: Presidents Ronald Regan and Mikhail Gorbachev sign The Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty.

Woo Hoo only one more to go...

Thanks for the research!! I have thought about looking to see about the significance of that day in history... But really it is really more about the confluence of only one day in history (ok, maybe two ). And then of course, you have to decide what constitutes history--past/present/future...

You decide!!!
