2 1/2 ramhorn exhaust routing
For those running the 2 1/2 ram horns did you have clearance issues with the straight dump? How did you not hit the starter?

please correct me if i am wrong but the straight dump ram horns are for 4 wheel drives only and don't work on 2 wheel drive trucks

Yep you are right but I have seen folks put them on 4x2s.

My truck has the swept back version of the ram horns and the driver's side pipe comes pretty close to the starter but does clear it. I haven't had any trouble with heat soak since I swapped to duals last December. I'm not sure how much different the clearance is on the 4x4 versions.

I ran them on a 2wd truck and used a later model starter(90 truck). It was still tight. I think if you ran the V-8 in the 6 banger location, it would give you more room.
