Starting over!!!

Some of you may recall my truck. Well, it is time to start over. It got burnt in a fire three years ago and I am going to do a frame off. It is going to take a while!!! I am going to do a poll. Any input is appreciated.

Re: Starting over!!!

IMHO....

If you're still asking other people for advice on what to do it's the fact that you already have the answer but just don't like it

Anything you do to an old chevy will be cool. Do what you want.
Now, if you're trully drawing a blank, that's something different.

If that's the case, how bout' a blown sbc??
Good luck!!!!!

Re: Starting over!!!

how bad was the fire?

i would not rebuild a burnt frame or a burned out cab, not safe.

if you need some donor vehicles there are 3 longbed 2wds in the M&M junk yard in woodland ca, about an hour west of you.

there are alwasy frames at pnp but you cant get a cab.

Re: Starting over!!!

Cab is good other than a little oil can on the roof. Nothing happened to the frame. It got roasted, did not start on fire. Its nickname now is the "Marshmellow". I will try to find the pics from after the fire.

Thank you for all input!!!!

Re: Starting over!!!

I think the truck would look good rebuilt to what it looks like before, It is sporting my favorite wheel on these trucks. Wish i could find a set, I will with time. Go clean and simple on the outside, Fuel Injected sbc/700r, 4 wheel disk brakes.

Kinda close to my plans.
