Bed Swap

Are there any differences between a 1971 GMC bed (long) and a 1970 Chevy bed (long).
The bed on my GMC is in really bad shape and I found another longbed off a 70 Chevy.
Wondering if the taillights, side marker lights, etc. are the same. Haven't looked at the Chevy bed yet, just called on it.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Bed Swap

Thanks Longhorn Man. LOL.
So will my GMC (logo) tailgate, which is in good shape, bolt up to the Chevy bed?

Re: Bed Swap

LONGHORN, was wondering if a 77 long bed will fit on a 69 long bed Chevy. Mine is a basket case and I want to swap it out. Which years/makes are compatible. Thanks
