The last Comp Cams I installed they recommended using Rotella T to break the cam in due to it still having all of the old additives of previous oils before the lifter changes Stroker was talking about.

I use moly paste from now on to break in cams. That chit don't come off!

Although you do have to change the oil filter imediately after break-in with moly paste, I can deal with that alot easier than another wore out cam.

I did it with my Grand Prix and I can tell the difference

ya car craft mag just had a good article on breaking in cams.rotella and chevron 400 oils showed the highest amount of zinc.i used chevron 400 for mine.by the way the cam i just put in my truck is a lunati vodoo 60102 468/489.good for 1400-5800 rpm.merry xmas...

I was wondering how that Lunati 60102 voodoo cam sounded and ran? I have a 383 stroker and I was thinking of using that paticular cam.
